Attualmente Chris Jericho è il IWGP Intercontinental Champion della NJPW. In una recente intervista dichiarò che non avrebbe mai lavorato in uno show di wrestling americano per rispetto di Vince McMahon, sembra che Jericho abbia cambiato idea al riguardo.
