Fin da WrestleMania Daniel Bryan è stato assente a causa di un infortunio, di cui la WWE ha voluto mantenere segreti i dettagli.

Vi abbiamo riportato che Daniel Bryan fosse nel backstage di Smackdown martedì ma, come abbiamo visto, non ha preso parte alla puntata. Secondo il Wrestling Observer Daniel Bryan è stato dichiarato pronto per tornare a lottare e, se fosse tornato una settimana prima, la WWE avrebbe evitato di turnare heel Kevin Owens.
