Stanotte a Smackdown Live si sono tenuti gli altri due quarti di finale validi per il torneo King Of The Ring. Nel primo quarto di finale Elias ha sconfitto Ali, nel secondo invece Chad Gable ha sconfitto Andrade.
L’approdo di Gable in semifinale ha stupito tutto il WWE Universe che vedeva in Andrade il principale favorito per vincere il torneo. Il WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle, attraverso un tweet si è congratulato con Chad Gable.
