A Starrcade, Rusev e Bobby Lashley avrebbero dovuto sfidarsi in un Last Man Standing match. Tuttavia, però, Lana ha annunciato che Rusev non avrebbe preso parte allo show, pertanto Lashley ha vinto l’incontro per “Forfait”.
Alla fine, però, Bobby Lashley ha combattuto contro Kevin Owens. Il match è terminato con l’arrivo di Rusev, che ha chiuso lo show attaccando duramente Lashley.
